Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with DurjoyAI?

Run `npx durjoyai-cli` in your terminal. The CLI will open your browser to sign in, generate your API key, and configure your environment automatically. After setup, just run `claude` to start coding.

Will my price change?

Your price is locked through June 2026. After that, pricing may be reviewed based on upstream API costs. Either way, every existing subscriber gets at least 15 days notice before any change, and you stay on your current plan + price until your next renewal. New buyers post-June would see whatever the pricing is at that time.

Could the underlying model change?

Possibly — and it'll usually be a positive change. All plans currently run on Claude Sonnet & Opus 4.6. We're always evaluating the best models available — that may include other Claude models in the future, or even models from different providers if they offer better quality or value. The currently-active model is always shown on the pricing page and inside your dashboard. If we ever make a significant model downgrade, affected subscribers receive a pro-rata refund offer for their unused period.

Why might pricing or models change?

Two reasons. First, the AI model market moves fast — new, better, or cheaper models ship every few months, and we want the freedom to route DurjoyAI to whichever model gives you the best experience for the price. Second, upstream API costs occasionally shift, and we may need to rebalance plans to keep DurjoyAI sustainable long-term. Either way: any change comes with ≥15 days notice and a clear explanation, and existing subscribers are honored at their current terms until renewal.

Does DurjoyAI work in my IDE — VS Code, Cursor, JetBrains?

Yes — DurjoyAI works in every IDE Claude Code supports. VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Antigravity (all VS Code-based) use the official Claude Code extension. JetBrains IDEs (IntelliJ, WebStorm, PyCharm, GoLand, PHPStorm, RubyMine) use the official plugin. Zed, Neovim, and any other editor work via embedded terminal. You only configure `durjoyai-cli` once — it activates Claude Code system-wide and every IDE picks it up automatically. No per-IDE setup.

Do I need a separate plugin or extension for each IDE?

No. Install the official Claude Code extension/plugin for your IDE (one-time, free, from the marketplace), then run `npx durjoyai-cli` once. The CLI configures credentials globally so every IDE inherits them. You can switch between VS Code, Cursor, and JetBrains in the same session — they all use the same activated Claude Code.

Does it work with Cursor, Windsurf, or Antigravity?

Yes. These are VS Code forks — install the Claude Code extension from their marketplace and it picks up your DurjoyAI credentials automatically. Same flow as VS Code: `npx durjoyai-cli` once, then open Claude Code inside Cursor/Windsurf/Antigravity.

My IDE isn't on the list — will it still work?

If your IDE has a built-in terminal, yes. Open the terminal pane, run `claude`, and you get the full Claude Code experience inside that IDE. We've seen users running it in Sublime Text, Emacs, Helix, and even via SSH on remote servers. Anywhere a terminal runs, DurjoyAI runs.

How do I generate or regenerate my API key?

The easiest way is to run `npx durjoyai-cli` again — it will generate a fresh key and update your environment. You can also go to your Dashboard and click "Generate API Key" or "Regenerate Key" for manual setup.

How do I remove DurjoyAI credentials from my computer?

Run `npx durjoyai-cli --remove` (aliases: `--logout`, `-r`). This deletes the saved config at `~/.durjoyai-cli/config.json` and removes the `ANTHROPIC_*` environment variables from your shell rc file (or, on Windows, your user environment). Reload your terminal afterwards. It does not uninstall Claude Code itself — run `npm uninstall -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code` separately if you want that too.

What happens when my subscription expires?

When your subscription expires, your API key will be deactivated. You'll need to renew your subscription to continue using Claude Code.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Contact us at [email protected] to cancel your subscription. Your paid features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

What models are available?

All plans include access to the durjoy-nova-pro-1, durjoy-nova-pro-2, and durjoy-nova-2 models, which are powered by Anthropic's Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6, and Haiku 4.6 — some of the most capable coding AI models available. They work in your terminal and IDE.

Can I share my account with others?

No — each DurjoyAI account is personal and tied to one user. API keys must not be shared. If multiple people need access, each person should create their own account and subscription.

How many tokens do I get per day?

It depends on your plan. Free gets ~30K tokens/day, Starter (~600K tokens/day) is plenty for regular development, and Pro (~3M tokens/day) is built for heavy, all-day usage. Limits reset every 24 hours automatically.

Is my code sent to DurjoyAI?

Your code prompts are routed through our proxy to Anthropic's Claude API. We do not store the content of your prompts or Claude's responses. Only usage metrics (request counts, tokens) are tracked for billing purposes.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments through SSLCommerz, which supports bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and most major Bangladeshi bank cards and mobile wallets.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes! Visit the Pricing page to select a new plan. Your new subscription will start immediately upon payment.
